The Vicenza-based company that produces Gran Moravia cheese, with the support of other important groups, supports this training project
The Brazzale Group, together with other key players in the agri-food sector, supports the Salta in Bocca project, a training course for 5 thousand primary school teachers of Nielsen areas 1 and 2 in Italy, for pupils, their parents and paediatricians.
“Providing information on the principles of a correct and healthy diet and the benefits of physical activity, from an early age, represents a value and a commitment that is part of a loyal relationship with consumers,” states Roberto Brazzale, Group CEO. “For this reason, we have always been committed to concrete projects, involving nutritionists and athletes, for example, and supporting activities that sustain these values. Today’s technology allows you to do all this in a simple and easy way. We just had to be first in the line-up when introducing these issues in schools, in every classroom, through fun activities that are also educational. We therefore immediately and enthusiastically joined the Salta in Bocca project. As soon as we were presented with it, we realised its importance and how in tune it was with the philosophy of the Brazzale Group.” In conclusion, Brazzale adds: “It is a responsibility we feel as ours, one that guides all the activities of the company, starting from the characteristics of the production chain of our Gran Moravia.”
About ten years ago, the Brazzale Group focused its growth toward the creation of agro-industrial systems based on “sustainable” agriculture and livestock farming, i.e. operating without upsetting the ecological balance and improving the environmental impact of traditional systems, as well as the healthiness of the products to the benefit of consumers. Moravia, in the Czech Republic, was chosen for the production of cheese. The Gran Moravia Eco-sustainable Supply Chain collects milk from over 15 thousand highly selected cows, raised in a network of 62 dairy farms that extend over almost 100 thousand hectares of land in the agricultural region of Moravia, where the best fodder is grown for production of the extra-aged Gran Moravia cheese.
